Students - Need Glasses?

A message From Nurse Fetch:

Vision to Learn will perform vision screenings for all students in grades 6-12 and provide eyeglasses, with no out of pocket cost*, to any child who could benefit from corrective lenses.

Screenings will take place on Thursday, September 26, & Friday, September 27, in the nurse's suite.  The Vision to Learn mobile clinic will be on site, October 7, 9, 10, 11, for your child to be examined by an Optometrist and Optician.  The eye doctor will prescribe eyeglasses and the student will choose a frame they like.  In about 3-4 weeks, Vision to Learn will return to the school to deliver the eyeglasses and make sure they fit correctly.  Please be sure to be in attendance on these days to take advantage of this program.  If you are an all virtual student please contact Nurse Fetch at [email protected] to schedule your appointment.

*Please note that vision services provided will be billed to your Medicaid benefits.

All students will be screened by Vision to Learn.  If you chose not to take advantage of receiving corrective lenses, please complete the attached opt out form and email it to the school nurse. Please contact the school nurse or Vision to Learn, [email protected], if you have any questions.
